Privacy policy

This covers WBAutomate, operated by Magnus Digital LLC. Two different people read it: owners, who have an account with us, and visitors to a site we host. Where the difference matters, it is spelled out.

We hold:

• Your email address, so you can sign in and so we can reach you about your site.
• The business details you enter — name, services, hours, service area, phone number, the words you want, your photos and logo. All of it is meant to be published on your own site.
• A subscription reference from Stripe, so we know what you are paying for and can cancel it when you ask. We never see or store card numbers.
• A record of what happened — when a site was generated, published or edited — so we can support you and see whether the product works.

The name, phone number, email address and message you submitted are stored by us and sent to the business whose site you were on. That business decides what happens next — whether they call you, keep your details, or add you to a mailing list. We only pass the enquiry on and keep it so it is not lost.

To have an enquiry corrected or removed, ask that business first. Write to us at hello@wbautomate.com if you cannot reach them.

We count how many people visit and which pages they open. We do it without a cookie and without identifying anybody.

Each visit is turned into a short code made from the IP address, the browser description and a secret that changes every day. The code cannot be turned back into an IP address, the IP address is not stored, and today’s code cannot be matched to tomorrow’s. So we can tell that two people visited today, and we cannot follow either of them into tomorrow.

Alongside it we keep the page opened, the country, and the site that linked to us. That is the whole of our analytics. There is no advertising network, no third-party script and no profile of you anywhere.

Two, both necessary, neither for tracking:

• A sign-in cookie, once you have an account, that keeps you signed in.
• A draft cookie that holds an unfinished site against your browser before you sign up, so your answers are still there when you come back. It lasts 7 days.

Sites we publish for customers set no cookies at all.

We use a small number of companies to run the service. We do not sell data, and nobody on this list may use it for their own purposes.

• Cloudflare — Hosting, content delivery and the key-value store your published site is served from.
• Supabase — The database, file storage for your photos, and sign-in.
• Anthropic — Writes the first draft of your site from the details you enter. Your business profile is sent; your customers' enquiries are not.
• Resend — Sends email — sign-in links, enquiry notifications and reports.
• Stripe — Takes payment. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach us.

Data is stored in the United States. We will also disclose information if the law requires it.

• An unpublished draft — 7 days, then removed.
• A deleted site — 30 days, so you can change your mind, then permanently erased.
• Your account — until you ask us to close it.
• Enquiries — for as long as the site they were sent to exists.
• Visitor counts — kept as totals, which cannot identify anyone.

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@wbautomate.com and we will answer within 30 days.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including to know whether your information is sold or shared. We do neither, and never have.

The service is for businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where the change is significant we will email owners as well.
